摘要：A method and a circuit for monitoring digital periodic signals (for example PCM30) is specified by means of which the fault finding and error detection in systems havingsuch signals is simplified. This is done in such a manner that the bit pattern of the firstsignal period (frame) within an observation period is stored and the bit patterns of thefollowing signal periods are compared with the bit pattern of the first signal period.When a deviation occurs, the corresponding bit is recorded in a deviation memory. At theend of the monitoring period, the deviation memory, together with the stored bit patternof the first signal period, provide information on the variation of the input signal.
