摘要：The present invention relates to a novel genomic RNA of Japanese encephalitisvirus (JEV) and an infectious JEV cDNA therefrom. Particularly, the present inventionrelates to a full-length genomic RNA of JEV represented by SEQ. ID. No 15 and aninfectious JEV cDNA therefrom. JEV genomic RNA and infectious JEV cDNA of the presentinvention can be used not only for the identification of the JEV genes, but also for themolecular biological studies including JEV replication, transcription, and translation.Moreover, they can also be applied to the development of the therapeutic agents,vaccines, diagnostic reagents, and diagnostic devices for Japanese encephalitis, and can beused as an expression vector for the various foreign genes.
