摘要：Flotation apparatus comprising an elongated tank having at one end both asubmerged feed inlet and an upper froth overflow, a clarified effluent overflow at theopposite end, and a bottom outlet for removing settled solids. A mixing valve assembly isassociated as a feed inlet for admixing an aeration stream with the primary feed as itenters the tank; and a trap is provided adjacent the feed inlet for removing relativelylarge air bubbles from the feed before it enters the main flotation zone.
